For the 8-cavity blow molding mold, due to its long length, the mold is prone to deformation. Therefore, a segmented manufacturing method is adopted. Two sets of 4-cavity blow molding molds are combined together to form an integral 8 cavity blow mold. 8-cavity bottle blowing molds usually adopt a compact linear or circular layout, with 8 mold cavity evenly distributed. This layout is conducive to improving production efficiency, allowing the mold to achieve simultaneous molding of multiple cavitys in a limited space, and facilitates cooperation with various components of the bottle blowing machine, such as precise docking with feeding devices, heating devices, mold clamping devices, etc., to ensure the smooth progress of the bottle blowing process. It consists of the front template, the rear template and the intermediate template.

The templates are accurately positioned through guide columns and guide sleeves to ensure the position accuracy of each mold cavity during the mold closing and opening process, preventing misalignment and affecting the molding quality of the bottle. The heated softened bottle preform is accurately placed in each mold cavity of the 8-cavity blowing mold.

 

The fast and accurate positioning of the bottle preform is usually achieved through a robot or an automatic feeding device to ensure that the position deviation of the bottle preform in the mold cavity is controlled within the allowable range, and is ready for subsequent blow molding. The mould often use P20 material, because it has good cutting and polishing performance, can ensure the dimensional accuracy and surface quality of the mold cavity, and has high hardness and wear resistance after heat treatment. It is suitable for the production of 8 cavity blow molds with large batches.
