Mold Screws

Mold screws are important parts used to fix and connect various parts of the mold, and have a critical impact on the stability, accuracy and service life of the mold.

Connection and fixation: accurately connect all parts of the mold, such as templates, cores, cavity, etc., to ensure that during the mold opening and closing, injection molding, stamping and other production processes, each component maintains a relatively fixed positional relationship, prevents displacement due to stress, and ensures the molding accuracy of the product.

Load transfer: When the mold works, it bears and transfers various loads, including injection molding pressure, stamping impact force, etc., so that the mold can withstand a large force, ensure the stability and reliability of the mold structure, and avoid damage to the mold due to loosening or breaking of the screws.

Medium carbon steel: It has high strength and hardness, can withstand certain loads, and has good processing performance.

When selecting the screw material in the mold, the following basic requirements need to be considered:

1. Wear resistance: Since the screws in the mold need to withstand high temperature and high pressure environment during work, they need to have high wear resistance to ensure a long service life.
2. Corrosion resistance: Since the screws in the mold need to contact with various plastic raw materials during work, they need to have good corrosion resistance to prevent corrosion and damage.
3. Tensile strength: Since the screws in the mold need to withstand a certain tensile force, they need to have high tensile strength to ensure a stable working state.
4. Thermal stability: Since the screws in the mold need to work in a high temperature environment, they need to have good thermal stability to ensure that they will not deform or damage.
